Soundproof
Cellulose Fibre is an effective soundproofing material. It is 3x as dense as fibre glass and therefore has excellent acoustic values. Noise pollution from traffic and airplanes will be significantly reduced in the home once it is installed.
Fire Retardant
Cellulose fibre insulation is treated with a number of fire-retardant additives and thus it will not burn. It is tested under SANS 428 and is classified B/B1/2. The additives being organic will last the lifetime of the building.
